TYRELL Malacia will return to Manchester United first team training today.
Malacia, one of the five members of the ‘bomb squad’, was told to report at United’s Carrington training base at separate times to the core squad.

The 26-year-old generated interest from Roma, Elche and Saudi Pro League clubs but remains marooned at United, with every overseas transfer window now shut.
United head coach Ruben Amorim said Malacia would initially return to team training with the under 21s but the Dutchman will now move back into the first team.
Club sources insist Malacia’s reintegration into the senior squad was always planned and is not reactionary amid their poor form.
Marcus Rashford, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho, the other four ‘bomb squad’ members, all secured moves either permanently or on loan.
Malacia has entered the final year of his contract and, unless he leaves United in the winter transfer window, he will be released next year.
The left back did not play for 550 days due to a knee problem that required two rounds of surgery and he was substituted in four of his five starts under Amorim last season.
Malacia last played for the Red Devils on January 30, before being loaned out to PSV Eindhoven, but only started five times for the Dutch champions.
United bought left back Patrick Dorgu from Lecce in the winter window in a £30million deal but the Denmark international has failed to impress.

Malacia was former United manager Erik ten Hag’s first signing in July 2022 after he impressed whilst playing against Antony in an Ajax-Feyenoord match.
United have had a tough start to the season, with last weekend’s 3-1 defeat to Brentford piling pressure on manager Amorim.

Last season, they finished a disappointing 15th, and expectations were that they would improve this time around.
But based on their current form, they’d be lucky to finish 15th again this season.
