The mum-of-one, who lives in Leigh, Manchester, but has links to Warrington, has been reported missing to police.

Her desperate family have also launched an urgent appeal for answers.

Paige’s aunt Kate said they are “extremely concerned for her welfare”, and that her niece is in a “vulnerable state of mind”.

Kate said that she and others will be printing posters off and getting family and friends to help put them up.

As the search enters its sixth day, these are the five most baffling clues surrounding Paige’s disappearance.

1. Why did Paige get into a taxi?

She left her home on Sydney Street in Leigh, on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 23.

Paige told her boyfriend she was going to her mum’s house, but she never arrived.

However she was reportedly spotted getting into a taxi, in Leigh, between 2am and 4am on Wednesday morning.

It is not known why Paige would not have gone to her mum’s, and why she would have taken a taxi.

2. Possible sighting?

After reportedly being seen in a taxi on Wednesday, there was another alleged sighting.

It is believed Paige was seen on St Helens Road in the town later the same morning at around 8.30am.

She was wearing a grey knitted dress and a scarf, with no coat.

St Helen’s road is an approximately five minute drive from Leigh town centre, or a 25 minute walk.

3. Why did Paige leave in middle of the night?

Paige’s family described her as being in a “vulnerable state of mind” but her motives behind leaving in the middle of the night are unknown.

Cops have urgently appealed for more information that could help with their investigation.

Paige left her five-year-old son with her boyfriend, with whom they share a home in Leigh.

Aunt Kate added: “If anyone has seen or heard from Paige, can they please let us know or contact the police?

“She has not been seen since Wednesday and has had no contact with her family since the early hours of Wednesday morning.”

4. Why was there no destination address?

The concerned relative also explained there was no known end address to the reported taxi trip.

After the last possible sighting of Paige on St Helen’s Road the trail has gone cold.

Her family have been plastering the local area with missing posters to find the mum-of-one.

5. Why has Paige’s phone been turned off?

Paige’s phone has been turned off since her disappearance, which Kate described as “completely out of character”.

She told the Manchester Evening News: “It is so unlike her to go missing for so long.

“She has a five-year-old son. It is completely out of character.

“We are petrified that something could have happened to her but hope getting her face out there could spark someone’s memory.”

Kate added: “I want to thank the more than 1,000 people who have shared the appeal so far. Your kindness has not gone unnoticed.

“I thank every single one of you from the bottom of my heart.

“We are hoping that the more we get her face out there, the more chance we have of finding someone who has seen her.”

Cops urged anyone who sees Paige, or has information on her whereabouts, to call her family on 07511591005.
