A UNION boss confessed that his members have zero interest in Jeremy Corbyn’s new party – but thousands want to back Nigel Farage.

Dave Ward, General Secretary of the Communication Workers Union, revealed “thousands” had emailed him calling for them to support Reform UK

But he said they hadn’t received a single one about Corbyn’s leftie Your Party movement.

Mr Ward told a fringe meeting at Labour Party conference that members of “all trade unions” were listening to the messages of Reform UK.

He said: “When ‘Your Party’ was announced we watched what our members have said about them.

“I can say to you truthfully, we haven’t had a single email from a member of our union saying ‘why don’t we disaffiliate with Labour and join Your Party?’

“We’ve had hundreds, thousands, of people questioning why we were affiliated to the Labour Party and why we weren’t supporting Reform.”

The union bigwig warned Labour their “steady as you go” approach would hand victory to Reform.

It comes after a recent poll predicted a clear Reform majority and put Labour on course for its worst electoral defeat since 1931.

Rachel Reeves claimed Mr Farage is the “single greatest threat” to livelihoods.

She said only Labour is on the side of the working class as they desperately try to fend off the Brexit big beast.

The Chancellor told Labour’s annual conference: “The single greatest threat to our way of life and to the living standards of working people is the agenda of Nigel Farage and the Reform party.

“Whatever falsehoods they push, whatever easy answers they peddle, however willing they are to tear communities and families apart, they are not on the side of working people.

“This is a fight that we must win, and it is a fight that we will win.”
