Shane Lowry putted the ball that put the visitors on 14 points, helping them retain their title and kickstarting a boozy party.
However, fans in attendance were forced to cough up big money to watch the Ryder Cup live.
Tickets in America cost an eye-watering £599 ($805) each.
And they are likely to be a similar price when the competition heads to Europe in 2027.
The Republic of Ireland’s Adare Manor, in Country Limerick, will host the next Ryder Cup.
But those looking to avoid paying big bucks can get into it for free.
That’s by working as a volunteer for the weekend.
Applications are set to open, with thousands needed as Marshals and Ambassadors.

The official Ryder Cup website states that Marshals will ensure a “smooth operation of play, managing crowds and helping create a safe, enjoyable atmosphere.”
As for Ambassadors, they will “guide visitors, answer questions and create memorable experiences.”
Each volunteer will work one shift per day, for a total length of five days.
However, those who are successful will not be able to watch the golf in the same manner as fans.
They will be expected to fulfil their working roles in a professional manner.
But with a chance to help Team Europe win three in a row on the Ryder Cup’s 100th anniversary, there are sure to be numerous applicants for the coveted roles.
