CHRISTMAS cookies fans are dashing to Asda as the supermarket unveils its own version of the viral M&S gingerbread and white chocolate cookies in the lead up to the festive season.
Now available as part of the Asda Bakery range, the pack contains five soft cookies spiced with warming ginger and packed with white chocolate chunks.

The Asda cookies retail at £1.23, while the viral M&S cookies, which also come in packs of five, would set you back £3.25 – making the Asda treats more than 60% cheaper.
One customer took to the Newfoodsuk Facebook page to share the exciting find after their shop at Asda.
Others reacted with enthusiasm to the post.
One savvy shopper commented: “These are so so good and so soft”.
Others tagged their friends, urging them to try the new cookies and compare them with the viral M&S ones.
ASDA’s festive baked goodies were also spotted by one Instagram snacks review account with more than 44k followers.
One user commenting on the Instagram post said that “Asda is winning at the Christmas game”.
Another said: “Running to Asda”.
Asda’s festive treats range also includes gingerbread tarts, gingerbread sweet buns, snowy road mini bites, and mini spiced flapjacks.
Shoppers have been previously raving about M&S bringing back their iconic gingerbread and white chocolate cookies as part of the supermarket’s 2025 festive product range.
The cookies have gone down a treat with customers, with shoppers begging for the supermarket to make them available all year round.
Last year shoppers took to social media to call them “one of the best supermarket cookies we’ve ever had”.
SAVE MONEY AT ASDA
Grabbing these festive baked goods is just one way of saving on your Christmas shopping at Asda.
Asda sits just under Aldi and Lidl in the Which? rankings for the cheapest supermarket.
In August, a typical basket of 75 items cost an average of ££139.42 at Asda – cheaper than rivals including Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons.

So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
