OLIVER GLASNER got straight on the phone to Marc Guehi after his Liverpool dream collapsed and convinced him to knuckle down and focus on the Eagles.
The Crystal Palace boss made it crystal clear that he fought to keep him and he’ll back him all the way to ensure he keeps his form throughout the campaign, SunSport has been told.

The Austrian was desperate not to lose his defensive rock, not just for his quality, but for the voice and leadership he brings at the back.

Guehi, 25, has already moved on from the failed Anfield move and hasn’t let the disappointment show in training or matches.
