The 30,000 sq ft site promises a mix of adventure, sport and digital play all under one roof.

Families will be able to bounce, climb, slide and game across more than 40 attractions.

SuperPark, founded in Finland, already runs 26 venues worldwide across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia — welcoming millions of thrill-seekers every year.

The Glasgow park will be the first of its kind in Britain, blending physical fun with high-tech games in an “immersive” experience for all ages.

Slides, freestyle adventure zones and trampolines will sit alongside augmented reality challenges and traditional sports, offering something for kids, teens and grown-ups alike.

Huw Kmiot, Associate Director of Asset Management at Pradera Lateral, said: “The arrival of SuperPark is a major milestone for Braehead, reflecting both its strong trading performance and the continued confidence brands have that they will out-perform here.

“SuperPark’s debut at Braehead underlines the destination’s reputation as a place that delivers results and actively responds to growing consumer demand for.”

The new venue is part of the wider Braehead Ambition drive, which brings together the shopping centre, arena and Xsite to boost the area’s leisure offering.

Bosses say the move comes at the right time, with Braehead reporting record footfall — up three per cent year-on-year — and spending also climbing by four per cent.

Jonathan Doherty, Director of SuperPark UK, added: “Our choice of Braehead Shopping Centre to begin our UK roll-out is very deliberate.”

With trampolines, climbing walls, slides and gaming all under one roof, SuperPark is expected to be one of Scotland’s biggest family attractions when it opens its doors.
