BRYAN MBEUMO told Manchester United’s stars to take responsibility for their dismal results — and not just blame the manager’s system.
United’s 3-1 humbling at Brentford piled the pressure on Ruben Amorim going into Saturday’s home clash with promoted Sunderland.

The struggling giants are languishing in 14th in the Premier League and SunSport revealed Red Devils players are amazed at how quickly this season has unravelled.
Old Trafford legend Wayne Rooney claimed he had “no faith” Amorim can fix a “broken” club whose players “don’t deserve to wear the shirt”.
Mbeumo, 26, who joined from Brentford in a £71million deal over the summer, says the players “must do better” after taking only seven points from their opening six games and crashing out of the Carabao Cup on penalties to League Two Grimsby.
He claims simply blaming Amorim’s controversial 3-4-3 formation is not right — as improvement is needed in all areas.
Mbeumo said: “Everyone in the team needs to take responsibility.
“When you play in a club this big, everyone needs to know what to do — as a team, we need to do better.
“It’s a little different for me but I’ve been playing this system in the past as well.
“We have a lot of things but it’s our responsibility to find the good things and to be better.

“I don’t think there is anything wrong about the system, it’s just us improving in certain areas.”
Pundits and fans have been quick to stick the boot in on United, who finished 15th in the Prem last season.
Mbeumo added: “It’s different, it’s not the same, but the only thing we want to be focused on is ourselves, we just try to listen to what’s going on inside.
“It’s not that hard to block out the noise.
“The main thing we see is on social media, so it’s just about not going on there much, and you just have to stay focused on your own things.”
Amorim sanctioned spending £207.5m on revamping his forward line this summer — bringing in Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko.

They started together for the first time in West London at the weekend and Mbeumo insists they need time to get to know each other.
He told Sky Sports: “It’s exciting, because we get to learn to play with new players and it’s always challenging but that’s what we like as footballers.
“Of course it will improve. We haven’t played a lot together, so there are certain things that we’re going to improve.
“There are different types of players — but it’s good to be with them.”
