Shots were fired as clubbers scattered from the dancefloor in terror.

Three men suffered gunshot wounds during the chaos.

Gunfire was heard seven seconds apart as panic struck the city centre nightspot.

West Midlands Police officers are now looking to identify a man and speak to him in connection with the shooting.

The force released images of a black man, who appeared to have a moustache.

He was wearing a Societe Noir-branded black cap in the CCTV still.

The man looks to have a black coat on, which appeared to be The North Face brand.

A spokesperson for the force said: “As part of our enquiries, officers want to identify the man in the image as we believe he may have vital information that will help us with our investigation.

“Our officers are working tirelessly to identify all those involved in the disorder and are continuing to review CCTV footage and speak to witnesses.”

A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and three women in their 20s and 30s were also questioned on suspicion of violent disorder.

All have since been released on bail.

Speaking at the time of the incident, Acting Ch Insp Michael Clarke appealed for anyone with information about the incident to contact West Midlands Police.

He said: “This happened in a busy nightclub, on one of the main roads out of Birmingham, so it’s vital that we hear from anybody who saw what happened or who may have captured it on dashcam as they went past.

“If you were in the club at the time and saw what happened, or recorded any footage from inside the venue, we need to hear from you urgently.”

“Our officers are working tirelessly to identify all those involved in the disorder and are continuing to review CCTV footage and speak to witnesses.”
