Cops release CCTV in hunt for woman, 26, last seen on busy road in white beanie hat as cops ‘concerned for her welfare’

COPS have launched an urgent appeal after a woman went missing and officers are concerned for her welfare.

Amelia Murton was last seen at around 5pm yesterday, in the village of Weavering, Kent.

The 26-year-old from Maidstone, is around 5ft 3in tall and slim, with dark brown hair and green eyes.

She may be wearing a grey hoodie, a burgundy coat and a white beanie hat.

Kent Police said: “We’re appealing for help to find a missing woman from Maidstone.

“Amelia Murton was last seen in the Bearsted Road area of Weavering at around 5pm on Wednesday 1 October.

“It’s thought she may be wearing a grey hooded top with wide tassels, light-coloured trousers, a burgundy-coloured coat and a white beanie hat.

“Our officers are concerned for Amelia’s welfare and are urging anyone who may have seen her to contact them.

“If you have critical information regarding Amelia’s whereabouts, please call 999.

“If you have any other information to help locate her, call 101 or use the live chat function on the Kent Police website. Please use the reference 01-1084.”
