Horrified onlookers watched on as the burly bouncer confronted the student late at night in Baltimore.

The two got into a heated conversation outside a bar before the much taller and heavier security bumped into the man.

In response, the uni student pushed back but was quickly met with a immediate and fiery response.

The guard wrapped his arm around the man’s neck before thrashing him around in a restrictive headlock, footage shows.

With a tight grip, the bouncer continued to wrench back on the student almost lifting him off the ground.

After a few seconds locked in the tight grip, the young man could be seen tapping on his arm – pleading to be released.

But the bouncer only appeared to intensify the brawl.

At one point the struggling student was seen turning red in the face as he was pulled up to his tiptoes.

He was then tossed to the side and pushed towards the ground.

In a last ditch effort to stop the onslaught he grabbed a hold of the bouncer’s leg.

Seconds later, the security guard was filmed ramming the man’s head into the window of an SUV which was parked on the side of the road.

The pair continue to brawl with the bouncer keeping his arm across the man’s throat as his leg was being yanked at.

In one of the final moments, the clubgoer was pulled to the ground between two cars before a second member of security intervenes.

Each bouncer grabs an arm and pushes the student against one of the motors.

The altercation took place outside the popular Public House bar near Cross Street in Baltimore.

It remains unclear what provoked such a strong response from the bouncer.

The student is believed to be from the Loyola University.

Footage of the alleged assault was shared across social media with police later confirming the name of the bouncer after he handed himself in.

Kevin Weaver, 41, was quickly identified as the member of the pubs security team who had been hired for the weekend.

He was booked on first-degree aggravated assault, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

Public House later wrote in a statement on Instagram confirming the bouncer will never work with the company again.

It read: “The individual in question is NOT an employee of Public House, and we will no longer be working with the security company that was on duty this weekend that employed the individual.

“Their actions do not reflect our values, and said individual has been banned, effective immediately.”

Weaver is being held at Baltimore City Central Booking pending a court commissioner’s decision on his bail, State Attorney’s Office spokesperson Emily Witty told The Baltimore Banner.
