SKY SPORTS NEWS went dark just hours before Spurs’ trip to Leeds on a Saturday full of Premier League action.
Thousands of fans were set to tune in to the channel to keep up with updates with the day’s action, which includes multiple 3pm kick-offs.
The channel simply showed a grey screen and an apology
Some fans rely on the channel to follow those matches, which are otherwise harder to keep up with due to the 3pm blackout, and got quite the scare by the dead air.
Sky placed an apology on the broadcast that read: “We apologise for the temporary loss of our graphics service.”
The channel managed to fix its broadcasting issues after about 15 minutes at 9:05 am.
That means fans can breathe a sigh of relief as they get ready to keep up with a day full of exciting fixtures.
Those matches include a floundering Manchester United playing in-form Sunderland at Old Trafford.
While in London, title hopefuls Arsenal hosting West Ham in Nuno Espirito Santo‘s second game at the helm.
All before Chelsea host league leaders Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, with the Blues hoping a statement victory could snap their patchy form into shape.
