The mum was seen stumbling out of her flat in a dressing gown before collapsing on a grassy area.

Alana, who had only just discovered she was pregnant, suffered stab wound to the legs, abdomen, shoulder and back.

March appeared at the Old Bailey today where he pleaded guilty to manslaughter by diminished responsibility.

But he denied murder, with a trial due to open tomorrow.

Alana had two children aged 12 and two and was “excited to become a mother again”, her sister Jasmine said.

Writing on a GoFundMe page, Jasmine added: “Alana was a mother of two beautiful girls. She was the best mother and fought hard for her kids.

“She was a sister, the best sister we could ask for. She was a daughter with a heart of gold.

“She was an auntie and she loved her nieces and nephews with a passion.”
