Vile hypocrisy of ‘peace-loving’ pro-Palestine mob who call for death of Jews has gone too far – now the cops are coming

SO, what was your first thought when you saw the footage of that woman cutting down yellow ribbons honouring the hostages taken during the October 7 massacre?

Mine was to dredge up some of the most offensive words I know and form them into a sentence so insulting that if I wrote it down here it would probably invite a visit from the Old Bill.

Who the hell was this dreadful woman treating people in mortal danger with such disrespect?

This shameless piece of work — named as pro-Palestine “artist” Nadia Yahlom — did not even pause to reflect on her disgraceful actions when confronted by furious locals, one of whom admitted the encounter had left her feeling afraid.

No, she doubled down, arrogantly declaring that the ribbons were “condoning genocide”.

Oh really? And how’s that then?

Because as far as I can recall they are the symbol of the “Bring Them Home” campaign, dedicated to raising awareness and helping the families of the 48 hostages still in Gaza — 28 of whom are believed to be dead.

Vandalising them is bad enough but to do it on the eve of October 7 in a part of London that many Jews call home is unspeakably heartless.

A sickening insult to the loved ones of those still held captive by Hamas barbarians — the mums, dad, sisters, brothers, grandparents, friends.

Yet I can imagine Cambridge graduate Yahlom probably did not stop there.

I feel certain that on Tuesday she was out and about again at one of the many pro-Palestine events being held in universities up and down the country.

One of the scores of cynical “Free Palestine” events provocatively staged on the second anniversary of the day Hamas maniacs raped, tortured, kidnapped and murdered Israelis in their own country.

A quick trip to King’s College maybe, just a few miles from the site of those ribbons she so despised.

There, masked-up students chanted “long live the Intifada” in the face of a Jewish man wearing a yellow ribbon, who expressed his disgust complaining: “They could do this on October 6th, 8th, 9th. To do this today is mere incitement.”

Or maybe Yahlom jumped on the train up to Sheffield Uni to join the “student coalition for Palestine” who spent the day beating a drum while calling for the eradication of Jews “from the river to the sea”.

Perhaps she went even further and bought a ticket all the way to Scotland to join the Glasgow University Justice For Palestine Society as they praised Hamas and celebrated the “glorious Al-Aqsa flood” — aka the murder, rape and abduction of Jews on October 7, 2023.

Whatever, wherever — as long as there was a way to compound her performative insult to Britain’s Jews, I bet she would have wanted to be there.

Because that’s the thing about people like Yahlom, the bitter heart of the otherwise noisy but benign pro-Palestine movement. They position themselves as big-hearted individuals who just want to wear their keffiyehs, promote “peace” and be on the “right side of history”.

Harass and abuse

But their actions tell a different story and it is always one of hate, violence and utter contempt for anyone who does not subscribe to their world view.

They preach about the right for people to exist, while marching and calling for the death of Jews.

They harass, intimidate and racially abuse British citizens on the streets of their towns and cities and in their neighbourhoods. They vandalise property and the tools to defend our country.

And they pollute our national institutions with their antisemitism masquerading as protest.

So is it any wonder that the Home Secretary this week unveiled plans to make it easier for cops to disrupt persistent protests that intimidate and cause “serious disruption to the life of the community”.

Activists and civil liberty groups have unsurprisingly cried foul, claiming the move is draconian and could usher in a more authoritarian state.

And they are right.

There should be no need for stricter rules in a functioning democracy such as the one we all enjoy in Britain.

But through their continually egregious actions, the very worst of the pro-Palestine mob have forced the state’s hand. In the new common parlance. They have f***ed around and found out.

So they can complain all they like about censorship and “police oppression” but they have only themselves to blame.

FINALLY the supremely idiotic — and evidently slapdash when it comes to facts — Greta Thunberg has done something useful.

TORIES NEED A REFORM

LOTS of empty seats at Tory Party Conference in Manchester this week.

No doubt most members were too busy drowning their sorrows in one of the local pubs while Kemi Badenoch and her dwindling band of loyalists took turns flogging their dead horse of a party.

The Conservatives have literally become a joke, as their failure to even spell “Britain” correctly on a promotional chocolate bar so painfully demonstrated.

No wonder new polling reveals only half of Tories want Kemi to be around for the next election.

Meanwhile, about the same number of members think their party should merge with Reform.

So there ends another party conference with the same person’s name on everyone’s lips . . . Nigel Farage.

GOOD grief, carpets in bogs are apparently making a comeback.
According to “style gurus”, tiles are out and fibrous floorings are in as

Gen Z demand a more “cosy” environment in the smallest room.

Because nothing says warm and comforting like a yellow patch of ammonia-scented rug.

BEEB’S PC BUG

IT’S a miracle the BBC actually manages to get any programmes made, what with the amount of sickies staff pull.

New figures show 20,000 days were lost last year due to mental health issues such as stress and anxiety.

What’s going on, Auntie? Perhaps the answer has something to do with how Beeb workers are treated by their ultra-woke bosses.

This week we learned that the Beeb has now banned the use of terms like “sweetheart” and “mate” and is urging staff to read books about why white people are so racist.

If staff feel like the next thing they say could be viewed as a “micro- aggression”, is it any surprise they’d rather stay at home?

GIVE IT A REST, GARY

GettyThe exceptionally-pleased-with-himself Gary Neville inserted his gigantic ego into the Manchester synagogue attack[/caption]

I WONDERED how long it would take the exceptionally-pleased-with-himself Gary Neville to insert his gigantic ego into the Manchester synagogue attack.

The ex-England and Man United defender’s attack on “angry, middle-aged white men” earned him a quick red card from the legions of middle-aged white men who he ordinarily relies on to watch him on Sky Sports.

And his builders, whose flag he pompously demanded be taken down.

Gary is typical of these “political” footballing has-beens, like accidental antisemite Gary Lineker and the boorish blowhard Joey Barton (recently humiliated after suggesting the murder of Charlie Kirk was a more significant historical event than the assassination of Martin Luther King).

For men who were once all about tactics and second-guessing the opposition, they seem incapable of anticipating the consequences of their lazy hot takes.

Red Nev, 50, has shown himself to be too thick to realise that when calling out divisive behaviour, it is probably best not to cause even further division by pointing the finger at a specific group.

Thus becoming the very thing he claims to despise.

IT ALL ADS UP

NEWS that TV ads feature a higher percentage of black and brown people than exist in this country doesn’t surprise me.

Advertising has been paranoid about “representation” for donkey’s so, like most industries, has engaged in a huge overcorrection.

But I can live with it.

Conjuring up fantasy worlds goes with the territory in advertising.

Like the Guinness “surfer” commercial from 25 years ago, an ad widely acclaimed as one the UK’s best ever.

You will recall it features a herd of gigantic horses galloping through the waves as tiny human surfers try to beat them to the beach.

Which, last time I checked, wasn’t exactly representative of life on Earth either.

SO farewell then James Bond’s Golden Gun.

Twitchy bosses at the 007’s new owner, Amazon, have got shot of all weapons from posters advertising the franchise they paid more than $1billion for.

And the brassy Bond Girls have been given the flick too.

Amazon has yet to explain why it has done all this embarrassing Photoshopping. But it is probably safe to assume it will be to do with some cobblers about “cultural sensitivities” in some of the less progressive markets.

Like China, which censored scenes of violence and torture in 2012’s Skyfall.

The kind of behaviour that would, of course, be unthinkable in the famously benevolent People’s Republic.
