TOTTENHAM’S owners have pumped another £100million into the club – reiterating their long-term “commitment”.
SunSport revealed last month that the Lewis family, who are the majority shareholders of Spurs, were mulling over putting a fresh cash boost into the North Londoners.

They have now done that to the tune of an eight-figure sum via their company ENIC, which the family hope will prove they are invested in the club for the long haul.
In a statement on Tottenham’s website, the club hinted the extra wonga could go into Thomas Frank’s transfer kitty to improve his squad.
The statement read: “This equity will further strengthen the club’s financial position and equip the club’s leadership with additional resources to continue the focus on driving long-term sporting success.
“The additional capital is part of the Lewis family’s ongoing commitment to the club and its future.”
It comes after DJ tech bro Brooklyn Earick decided not to make a formal bid for Tottenham despite showing interest in a £4.5billion takeover.
Spurs are now being run by Vivienne and Charlie Lewis, the children of the club’s former owner Joe Lewis who is no longer involved.
They ruthlessly ousted long-term chairman Daniel Levy at the start of September owing to Spurs’ poor performance on the pitch, as part of a supposed ‘new era’ for the club.
The message since they took control has been the Lewis family have no interest in selling up, while Frank last month claimed the owners were “120 per cent” committed.

Vivienne and her son-in-law Nick Beucher were spotted at Spurs’ Uefa Youth League game in Bodo/Glimt last week, before taking in the seniors’ Champions League clash up in the Arctic Circle.
Peter Charrington replaced Levy, albeit as Tottenham’s non-executive chairman, working alongside chief executive Vinai Venkatesham.
He added: “As I stated a few weeks ago, our focus is on stability and empowering the management team to deliver on the club’s ambitions.
“I know the Lewis family are also ambitious for the future.
“Today’s capital commitment reflects that ambition and I would like to thank them for their ongoing support.
“We will continue to do all we can to ensure that Vinai and his team are supported in the best way possible to take this club forward.”
