DAN BURN claims a BROKEN HAND will not stop him playing through the pain for club and country.
Newcastle’s strapping 6ft 7ins defender failed to get off the bench in England’s 3-0 friendly win over Wales.

However, he’s desperate to earn his fourth Three Lions cap in Monday’s World Cup qualifier in Latvia.
That is despite revealing the nasty injury he sustained in Toon’s 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest last weekend.
Burn said: “I actually broke my hand, I don’t even know how I did it, I think I went to grab someone and then I felt a crack.
“It was early in the second half so I went for the scan and I have seen a specialist.
“I’ve been told I can play with it.
“I am ready for Latvia, I am ready for Newcastle and I’d have been ready to play [against Wales].
“Now the thing for us is to keep that going all game.
“At 3-0 up we probably took our foot off the gas a little bit. We now look forward to the World Cup qualifier in Latvia now.”

His words will be music to the ears of Eddie Howe, who currently has both first-choice full-backs Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall sidelined through injury.
And the 33-year-old former Asda trolley pusher – who lost a finger on his right hand as a teenager when climbing a fence – left his Magpies boss in doubt that nothing will stop him from being available to face his former club Brighton at the Amex next Saturday.
