PUNTERS were in stitches watching random racegoer Pat gatecrash a live TV interview.
Racing TV hosts Fran Berry and Gary O’Brien were wrapping up the action from Irish racecourse Thurles when they were hilariously interrupted.

But instead of carrying on and trying to pretend he wasn’t there, they kindly brought him in to be part of the act.
And while it made for great TV, that move totally backfired on former jockey Berry.
Oblivious to the Group 1-winning rider standing right in front of him, lovable Pat asked: “Which one are you?”
Like every punter, Pat was quick to mention his winner in the lucky last – although he was tight-lipped with regards winners the following day.
The whole clip, which has gone viral online, was a real breath of fresh air.
And it made many think back to what they called the glory years of racing, with real, genuine characters filling the racecourses.
One person left laughing at the video wrote on X: “Gary O’Brien reading the situation and dealing with it with absolute class.”
Another posted: “THAT IS GOLD! Well done lads and fair play for creating one of the all time racing interviews!”
One comment read: “Go on, Pat. Absolutely brilliant lads, fair play to you, handled superbly. The lighter moments in life are just brilliant.”
While a fourth said: “Fair play, they handled that like absolute pros.”
