MANCHESTER United boss Ruben Amorim was back on the touchline over the weekend as he was spotted monitoring the talents of the next generation of up and coming footballers.
Amorim took in a number of games on Sunday at the Manchester Youth Super League (MYSL).

And he happily posed for pictures after watching Reddish Vulcans – which counts Man City and England star Phil Foden among its former stars – performing on the pitch.
A source said: “Amorim was a delight with the kids and the parents. It was funny that he ended up watching Vulcans.
“Maybe he was looking to see if they had another Foden on their hands so United could nick him.”
Foden, from Edgeley, Stockport, started playing for Vulcans when he was just seven years old.
But it is believed that Amorim’s son plays in the league, and he was most likely in attendance to watch him, not to find the next young star to grace the pitch at Old Trafford.
In fact, it is not the first time that the manager has shown up to surprise the young footballers at MYSL.
He has made multiple appearances at the league, including at the league’s finals in May, taking pictures with staff and players on that occasion as well.
The MYSL has a history of attracting visitors from the top level of the game in recent years.

Manchester City stars John Stones and Ederson made separate visits earlier this year.
Liverpool‘s Joe Gomez and Everton‘s Jordan Pickford have also made the journey to take pictures with young fans.

Even stars from other areas of the game have got involved.
Referee Simon Hooper rocked up in full Premier League garb to officiate a match between two under-7s sides last year.
He even had time to give advice to referees at the venue, despite also being on duty for a match between Leicester and Southampton that same weekend.
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola took up a similar role as he RAN THE LINE during a girls’ grassroots game, just hours after his side came from behind to stun Fulham at the Vitality.
