Kent Police confirmed they were contacted by the Dutch authorities at the beginning of this week after a body was discovered.

Formal identification on Tuesday tragically revealed it was Liam Graham.

Cops are now launching a probe to uncover the nature of the young lad’s death.

The 22-year-old was last seen just after midnight on Stoke Road, between Lower Stoke and Hoo, Kent.

A theory put forward by Liam’s family is that the car crash victim wondered off after the incident and became disorientated due to a head injury.

In a post on the family’s Search for Liam social media page earlier today, Liam’s mum Joanne wrote: “I just wanted to let everyone know that Liam has been found. Sadly Liam has passed.

“I just wanted to thank everyone for their help and support but please can everyone respect that me and my family need our time to process this and be together.”

At the time of his disappearance officers initiated a 10 day search party in the area.

They used sniffer dogs, a helicopter and their marine unit but Liam was not found.

The only clue was Liam’s wallet left behind on farmland nearby the scene of the crash.
