Mike Ashley tables formal ‘£20m’ offer for Sheffield Wednesday as controversial ex-Newcastle owner plots footie return

MIKE ASHLEY has made a bid to buy Sheffield Wednesday worth around £20million, according to reports. The former Newcastle United owner is deemed to be a serious contender to save the Owls after they entered administration in October.
