Ex-England & Premier League footie star arrested on suspicion of attempted rape as he was about to fly out of the UK

A FORMER England and Premier League footballer has been arrested on suspicion of attempted rape. The suspect, who played for the Three Lions in the 2010s, was detained at Stansted following an allegation from an ex-partner. Police said he was bailed pending further inquiries.
