Tottenham vs Aston Villa preview
Ange Postecoglou is looking to get his Spurs side back to winning ways after two defeats on the bounce.
Destiny Udogie looks set to return from injury this week but they’ll still be without influential players James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero, Richarlison and Yves Bissouma for this one.
That will put them on the back foot in this contest, particularly with how well Aston Villa are doing.
Villa are now just one point off Spurs in fifth spot after their own excellent start to the campaign.
Their only defeat in all competitions in the last nine games came at Nottingham Forest, showing a good consistency despite having to juggle Europe.
Villa also won both of the meetings between the sides last season, scoring twice in both games.
They’ve also scored at least two goals in five of their last six games and will fancy it up against a second string Spurs back line.

Both teams have scored in six of Aston Villa’s last seven games, while there’s been 11 goals in Spurs’ last three games.
