PENNY Mordaunt launched an astonishing attack on the Scottish National Party yesterday, saying it has failed on education but does give kids safe spaces to inject heroin.
The Commons leader accused the SNP government of widening the attainment gap for youngsters and overseeing a “wrecked education system”.

In a brutal jibe, she added: “But they will have, of course, somewhere safe and warm to take heroin.”
In September, Glasgow gave the go-ahead to the UK’s first official consumption room for illegal drugs including cocaine and heroin, also known as smack.
It is backed by the SNP, who say it will help stop overdoses and tackle the drugs crisis.
Ms Mordaunt’s criticism came after SNP MP Deidre Brock mocked her Tory conference speech, in which she repeatedly urged Brits to “stand up and fight”.
Ms Brock said Chancellor Jeremy Hunt’s Autumn Statement showed Tory ministers “want a fight” with the unemployed.
Ms Mordaunt hit back, arguing the SNP is on the list of those she is “standing up and fighting against”.
The minister also urged Ms Brock to be a “little more self-reflective”, before adding: “Which party is it whose leader smirked whilst people booed the national anthem?
“Whose party is it whose activists called BBC reporters ‘traitors’?”
