A DRUNK-driver who killed her aunt when she smashed through a fence and into a tree after a pub trip has been jailed.

After she crashed into the tree, Illsley removed her seriously injured aunt Katie Westwood from the car and left her.
Tragically, Katie was later found dead near the scene in Stretton, Staffordshire, in October last year.
Illsley has now been jailed for four years and eight months after she admitted causing death by driving without due care and attention while unfit through drink.
She was also banned from driving for five years following the horror.
Detective Chief Inspector Al Lyford said: “I’d like to offer my sincere condolences to Katie’s family who are continuing to come to terms with what happened last year. I can only imagine how they are feeling.
“This case just goes to show the devastating and lifelong consequences drink driving can have on people, families and wider communities.”
