TEMPERATURES have plunged to freezing – with a map revealing the exact date snow will hit.
The mercury has fallen below zero this morning in much of Wales, Scotland and northern England.

The whole country will see temperatures in the single figures today – and the coming week is set to be just as chilly.
Met Office forecasters said that snow could fall as soon as this Wednesday.
After a cold and frosty start, today will be mainly dry with plenty of autumnal sunshine.
There will be some patchy showers along the east coast and light winds elsewhere.
It will turn hazy later, with widespread frost and freezing fog patches.
But temperatures will rise a little as cloud brings scattered outbreaks of rain.
Tomorrow will have a frosty start before cloud and rain push eastwards across the country.
In Scotland it will be drier with some sunny spells – although showery rain will soak the Northern Isles.
The rain will ease on Monday, with bright skies forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.
But it will still be very cold and frosty – with some snow forecast for Wednesday and Thursday.
The Met Office said: “Winds are likely to often be from the north, with a mixture of cold, quiet periods and some more showery episodes with rain, sleet and possibly hill snow.
“Any sleet and snow showers would be most likely to affect northern and eastern coastal districts.
“There remains a chance of more widespread snow spreading up from the south.”
There are no weather warnings in place for the coming week.
