Garnacho met Diogo Dalot’s deep cross inside three minutes at Everton on Sunday with a “magical, absolutely incredible” top-corner opener.

APGarnacho not only copied a famous Wayne Rooney goal he aped the celebration of another United legend in Cristiano Ronaldo[/caption]

The Argentina winger launched into a Ronaldo-eque Siu goal salute as pundits rushed to compare his strike to all-time great efforts.

United legend Gary Neville raved on Sky Sports: “I cant believe it.

“I don’t thing I’ve ever been in a stadium where I’ve seen an overhead kick that good.

“And I was there for Rooney’s against Man City.”

Roo’s famous overhead effort earned the Red Devils a 2-1 victory over neighbours City 12 years ago.

But many fans on social media appeared to agree with Nev that Garnacho’s was better as they called it “the coldest moment of the season”.

Other verdicts included: “Magical finish”… “sensational” … and “absolutely incredible”.

Some viewers also reckon Garnacho’s blossoming season shows how much he has learnt from ex-United frontman Ronaldo.
