A MAN has been rushed to hospital after a Christmas Wonderland ride “seemed to go wrong” at Lakeside Shopping Centre.
Emergency services scrambled to the Essex mall late on Saturday after the man was injured.
A ride ‘made really weird noises’ at Lakeside Shopping Centre
A witness told EssexLive that the machine had made “really weird noises” and had “seemed to go wrong”.
Security reportedly stopped people from entering the site afterwards, with several ambulances and cops spotted at the scene.
East of England Ambulance Service Trust said: “We attended the scene with 2 ambulances, air ambulance and 2 rapid response vehicles.
“A patient was transported to the Royal London Hospital.”
Christmas Wonderland opened on November 16 and will run at Lakeside Shopping Centre until the new year.
