The Swede spent ten minutes warming up after suffering a frozen penis during an event in Finland.
Halfvarsson was left fearing for his manhood after participating in the 20km World Cup event in Ruka, which is inside the Arctic Circle.
He also revealed he is thankful he is about to welcome a second child, as he worries he might not be able to add another in the future.
After the event the 34-year-old told Expressen: “I have frozen my penis. For real. Damn, I had to lie in there [warm-up tent] for ten minutes to warm it up.
“It hurts so damn much. It’s terrible. It’s lucky that I’m going to have my second child, because this is going to be difficult in the future if I’m going to continue like this.
Asked if he could describe the pain, Halfvarsson replied: “No. Those who know, they know.
“But you should get a tip from me. Stay away from it, because it is the worst thing you can experience.”
Another skier Remi Lindholm also required treatment on his penis after suffering a freeze for the second time in his career.
