BOURNEMOUTH keeper Darren Randolph was surrounded by medics and carried off in worrying scenes BEFORE kick-off.
Tuesday’s Professional Development League game with Ipswich at the Vitality Stadium was delayed for 10 minutes while the former West Ham star was treated.
Darren Randolph was at the centre of a scareRex
The 36-year-old, who had been due to start the game,. reportedly went to the ground and complained of feeling unwell.
All Bournemouth’s medical team rushed on to help the ex-Republic of Ireland stopper.
He was then taken off on a stretcher.
But development squad head coach Alan Connell later said Randolph was “doing well”.
And the ex-Birmingham ace was able to leave the stadium himself without treatment.
The Daily Echo say Randolph “passed all medical checks”.
And Connell told the club’s Academy account on X: “Darren Randolph felt unwell in the warm-up and needed medical attention.
“All the medical team were straight on to help him, which was great.
