ROAD rage killer Kenneth Noye has been stopped from cashing in as an after-dinner speaker at a £200-a-head gala.

The 76-year-old ex-gangster was ordered by parole bosses to pull out of the event or risk being recalled to jail.

He was warned that appearing alongside other notorious criminals at the An Evening With… event in Cambridge would breach his licence conditions.

A source confirmed he had withdrawn after our report on his appearance.

They added: “Under the terms he’s not allowed to mix with criminal associates. His probation officers are scrutinising everything and have warned him he faces being recalled to prison if he continues.”

Noye, who stabbed driver Stephen Cameron, 21, to death on a motorway slip road in 1996, was released from jail in 2019.

We revealed the killer was due to take to the stage in February to speak about his life of crime. Punters could also pay an extra £30 for a meet and greet and photo.

Promoter Gadfly Events boasted: “This will be the first time ever that Kenny Noye is telling his story.”

He had been lined up to appear alongside other criminals, including hitman Kevin Lane and Hatton Garden heist ringleader Kenny Collins.

Former Det Supt Nick Biddiss, who led the Kent Police investigation into Stephen Cameron’s murder, said: “It cannot be right that Noye should be able to exploit and revel in his crimes in front of paying guests at a dinner.”

Noye, jailed in 1986 for handling gold from the Brink’s-Mat robbery, also killed an undercover police officer in 1985 but successfully claimed self-defence.
