A TEEN dubbed the “Brixton R Kelly” has been jailed after carrying out a string of rapes against schoolgirls.

Kevarnie Queen was 15 when he started his three-year reign of terror against the six young victims.

The predator groomed the girls on Snapchat before raping them in his family home in South London.

Queen, now 19, clamped his hand over their mouths so his mum wouldn’t hear their screams next door.

On one occasion, the fiend was interrupted by his younger brother but carried on raping the girl on the bunk bed he shared with his sibling after he left the room.

He also carried out terrifying attacks in a dark stairwell nearby as he pinned his victims down.

Queen, who claimed he was “100 per cent player” as he argued the sex was consensual, wept as he was jailed for 12 years after being convicted of 22 counts of rape.

Inner London Crown Court heard five of his six victims were just 15 at the time of the horror attacks.

They bravely told how they screamed in pain as “demon” Queen raped them.

One girl said she tried to take her own life seven times, while another was raped on her 15th birthday after the predator promised to take her for ice cream.

The court heard how one victim was “frozen” when Queen attacked her, adding: “I just felt like my soul left my body when it began.”

The fiend body-shamed his victims and used mind games to stop the girls going to police.

On one occasion, he vandalised a girl’s garden to threaten her to stay silent – leaving her living in “constant fear”.

Another girl who wanted to wait until she was married to lose her virginity told how she was raped in a stairwell opposite Queen’s home.

She said: “I will never be able to live purely again. I will never be able to trust anyone again, I will never get my innocence back.

“It is something I will have to live with for the rest of my life.”

Queen was branded the “Brixton R Kelly” after his horrific crimes eventually came to light in 2022.

The court was told he had been a promising footballer but later dropped out of school and fell in with gangs instead.

He later claimed he was the victim of a “hate campaign” – leading to some of his victims receiving abuse online.

One girl branded Queen “evil”, adding: “You tried to break me, but in the process, in the log run, you only broke yourself and this has made me stronger and wiser.

“Thank you for temporarily breaking my heart but forever fixing my vision.”

Queen, of Brixton, denied but was convicted of 22 counts of rape.

He will spend a maximum of 12 years at a young offenders’ institute before being released on extended licence for four years.

Laura Devitt, senior crown prosecutor from the Rape and Serious Sexual Offences Unit in London South, commended the “immense bravery and mental fortitude” of the victims to come forward.

She said: “Queen has clearly demonstrated he saw these young girls’ existence purely for his own satisfaction.

“Queen claimed he was a ‘player’ and knew how to make girls like him and that any activity was consensual.

“His misogynistic and deplorable actions have now been exposed for what they are, and these convictions ensure no further women are caused further irreparable harm at his hands.”
