ZARA Aleena’s aunt has slammed one of Britain’s most secure jails after it was reported her killer had sex with a prison worker.
Evil Jordan McSweeney pounced on the law graduate as she walked home just days after he was released from a prison sentence.

He was jailed for life with a minimum of 38 years, which was later reduced to 33 years, for the brutal murder in June 2022.
It has now emerged a prison worker allegedly had a romantic relationship with McSweeney that culminated in them being found in a locked room having sex.
The unnamed 32-year-old, who is employed in the workshop at HMP Belmarsh, was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
Zara‘s aunt Farah Naz, who was told about the incident after it happened last April, has now questioned how the illicit tryst was able to take place.
She told the Mirror: “Is Belmarsh a social club or our country’s most high-security prison? There are serious questions to be answered and we need a public investigation.
“Zara doesn’t even get to breathe but her killer gets to have sex in prison. There has to be a cover-up inside Belmarsh for all those people not to know.
“Otherwise the system is working worse than we believed.”
The worker is said to grown close to McSweeney, who was previously branded a “ticking timebomb” by an ex-girlfriend.
Their alleged affair was only rumbled when prison guards kicked down a locked door to find them having sex.
The woman was arrested on April 6 last year after cops received an allegation of inappropriate conduct.
She was bailed bending further enquiries and later released under investigation.
Farah said she was “shocked and disgusted” when she first discovered the apparent affair.
But she was even more stunned to discover senior prison officials – including Justice Secretary Alex Chalk – were unaware.
The aunt added: “He had only been sentenced four months before the relationship was discovered and it had been one of the country’s most high-profile court cases.
“You would imagine it would be at the forefront of their minds.”
McSweeney was on licence at the time of Zara’s murder for criminal damage, racially aggravated harassment and unauthorised possession of a knife in prison.
The predator had 28 previous convictions for 69 offences – including burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, driving offences, criminal property, assaults on police and assaults on members of the public.
He had been released from prison for robbery just nine days before the savage attack.
His licence had been revoked after failing to meet probation officers but he was not recalled to prison.
This meant the predator was free to roam the streets hunting for a victim.
On the night of Zara’s murder, McSweeney was captured on CCTV stalking the streets of East London.
At least four other women managed to escape the killer’s clutches as he followed them in the darkness.
One even ran for safety into a home on the same street were Zara was brutally murdered.
After setting his sights on the law graduate, McSweeney dragged her into a driveway where he repeatedly kicked and stamped on her.
Zara was discovered partially clothed and struggling to breath by horrified neighbours who heard her screams.
The prosecutor said she had been attacked with “savagery that is almost impossible to believe”.
His minimum term was reduced to 33 years in November after top judges found his original sentence was too high an “uplift”.
Heartless McSweeney had appeared via videlink for the start of proceedings but left before the hearing finished.
Farah said: “He is supposed to have 23 hours inside his cell so how can he supposedly meet someone like he did?
“How does a man who’s murdered a woman so brutally have access to a woman who is not a prison guard? A woman coming in from another organisation?
“What process is taking place to vet people who are going to interact with a Class A prisoner?”
It is understood that the worker has been suspended from the Prison Service.
The Ministry of Justice previously said there is “zero tolerance of inappropriate relationships with prisoners”.
While the Met said: “On 6 April 2023, the Met received an allegation of inappropriate conduct at HMP Belmarsh. The same day, a 32-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
“She was bailed pending further enquiries until a date in late July. She was later released under investigation. Enquiries are ongoing.”
