A MUM was crushed to death by her own car while she delivered Christmas presents, an inquest heard.
Mary Williams, 71, had parked her car on a slope in Abergele, North Wales, when the horror unfolded.

The mum-of-three had failed to fully apply the brakes – causing it to roll 30 metres down a bank.
Mary had reached through a door to try and stop the vehicle but was left trapped between the Seat Leon and a hedge.
Tragically, she was discovered half in and half out of the driver’s door following the tragedy on December 23, 2022.
An inquest heard how Mary’s cause of death was given as “postural asphyxia”.
Dr Muhammad Aslam said the mum was unable to breath due to the way she was trapped.
The hearing in Ruthin was told there were no faults or defects in the vehicle.
Brian Grocott, a police forensic collision investigator, said Mary’s upper body was out of the car but her lower body still inside.
He said she had “alighted from it” for some reason – suggesting she “probably attempted to steer while out of the vehicle while it was in motion”.
Mr Grocott concluded her death was “probably wholly attributable to the unknown actions of Mrs Williams”.
Kate Robertson, assistant coroner for north Wales east and central, recorded a verdict of accidental death.
She said: “There are many unanswered questions, the most perplexing being why she left the vehicle.”
Mary’s family paid tribute to the former NHS physiotherapist who helped run the family farm and holiday cottages in the area.
They said: “She will leave a huge hole in the lives of her family and many friends.
“Mary was an incredibly fun, caring, and energetic presence. She loved to dance at parties, play practical jokes, and travel.
“There was always a project or an adventure on the horizon.”
