Tom Lockyer smiles as he returns to Luton’s training ground five weeks after suffering cardiac arrest on the pitch

TOM LOCKYER has been pictured back at Luton’s training ground.

Lockyer, 29, suffered a cardiac arrest during the Hatters’ clash with Bournemouth on December 16.

The match was suspended in the 59th minute as medics tended to Lockyer on the pitch.

The club’s medical staff confirmed Lockyer was responsive shortly after the terrifying ordeal.

The Welsh centre-back thanked the “heroics actions” of the people who saved him.

And he has now been pictured smiling back at Town’s Brache training ground.

The club posted images of Lockyer to the club’s social media pages.

They captioned their post on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Look who was back at the Brache today! .”

In response, one fan said: “I’m crying and so are you! Love you, Locks – our Skipper! Welcome back to where you belong.”

A second said: “So happy to see him doing well .”

A third said: “Things we love to see .”

Another said: “Yesssssss. Love you Locks .”
