A GOBSMACKED tenant claims her “petty” neighbour “snitched” to her landlord because she got a doormat – then swiped it when she didn’t move it quick enough.

Dominique Beining, 27, was away visiting a friend in London when she received a text from her “embarrassed” landlord apologising and explaining that her neighbours demanded the “tiny” item be moved inside her flat.

Despite laughing about the request with her landlord, she discovered her doormat had disappeared after she returned to her home a couple of days later.

The doormat was a gift from a friend and had nothing on it that would cause harm or offence to anyone, she claims.

Suspecting the upset neighbour took it, the singer left a note in their communal hallway suggesting the “snitch” should “relax” – even pinning a Boots moisturising face mask to rub it in.

“I thought it was quite funny,” she said.

“I was just laughing at it really.

“I just couldn’t believe that somebody had that much time on their hands.”

Dominique, from Brighton, has since bought a new doormat from Poundland, which she keeps inside her flat and advises others to “light a candle for their petty neighbours because they must be struggling with something”.

The singer mocked her neighbour in a TikTok post with the caption reading: “The devil works fast but my middle-aged presumably unemployed neighbour works faster.”

The clip went viral racking more than 1.4million views, likes and comments.

Dominique said she is unaffected by it all and hopes her neighbours enjoy using her doormat.

“I have a busy life so I’m not too bothered by it,” she added.

“I hope they have a happy life with my doormat.

“I think there are bigger issues in the world right now than worrying about the doormat.”

The singer says she wishes them “all the best” and hopes they can “heal with whatever they are going through”.

It comes after a Grandad claims his paedophile “neighbour from hell” is using a secret camera to “spy” on his 12-year-old grandson.

And furious neighbours of Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon say his endless building work has ruined their lives.
