Asked if she felt regret, she replied: “I did for two hours. Now I don’t give a f**k, and I’d do it again.”

It comes after Brianna’s mum Esther joined mourners yesterday at a vigil to mark one year since the 16-year-old transgender youngster was killed.

Flowers, candles and a painting of Brianna were laid in Warrington, Cheshire.

Jenkinson and her accomplice Eddie Ratcliffe led Brianna to her death at Linear Park in nearby Culcheth.

The two, both then 15, stabbed vulnerable Brianna 28 times with a £13.50 hunting knife before they were disturbed by dog walkers.

Self-confessed Satanist Jenkinson, who watched torture videos on the dark web, must serve at least 22 years.

Transphobic Ratcliffe, now 16, faces a minimum of 20 years.

A source said Jenkinson is revelling in her notoriety at Adel Beck secure unit in Leeds.

They said: “Before she was found guilty at trial she wasn’t publicly identified in the media but she Googled her name and found people talking about her.

“She loved the idea of fame. It was one of the only times I saw genuine emotion from her. She was proud of what she did. It was chilling.”

The source said Jenkinson asked staff to buy her a book on US serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, who ate body parts of his victims.

Jenkinson’s parents, meanwhile, thanked Brianna’s mum for her “overwhelming compassion” after she called for them to be shown “empathy” and applauded the judge for naming their daughter at Manchester crown court.
