A STALKER was blasted twice by cops in a fatal shooting while trying to enter a home armed with crossbows, the police watchdog revealed today.
Armed police surrounded Bryce Hodgson, 30, as he tried to force his way into a house he had previously been banned from entering.

The convicted stalker had arrived in Rotherhithe, South East London, wearing body armour and brandishing crossbows, a knife, sword and a hatchet.
He was confronted by neighbours during the horror on January 30 before being shot by police.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), which is investigating the shooting, today released further details.
A spokesperson said: “Two shots were fired from a police issue firearm in the house and a post-mortem examination held on 2 February has established the cause of death was gunshot wounds to the neck and chest.
“The IOPC investigation into the shooting by a Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) officer of a man in Bywater Close, London, SE16 on Tuesday 30 January is progressing.
“We can now name the deceased as Bryce Hodgson, 30, from Dulwich. An inquest will be opened in due course.
“We are assessing the scope of our investigation which will be confirmed in the coming days. As we are at a very early stage, we have nothing further to add at this time.”
The dramatic moment Hodgson was brought down in Bywater Place was caught on camera after he managed to get inside the property.
Police revealed he knew at least one person who lived in the home.
Hodgson was slapped with a five-year restraining order last year after stalking a 31-year-old woman.
He pleaded guilty to causing serious alarm and distress by entering her bedroom without consent, sending messages demanding she open her door and describing vivid sexual fantasies between January 1 and April 29 last year.
The restraining order banned Hodgson from contacting the victim or entering the road where she lives.
Neighbours described the cannabis user as a “troubled and haunted individual” who stressed about losing his hair prematurely.
The IOPC launched the investigation after the shooting, which is standard practice in such circumstances.
