FANS joked they “thought Erik ten Hag was the problem” after Jadon Sancho’s horror stats against PSV Eindhoven were revealed.

The Manchester United winger, 24, rejoined Borussia Dortmund on loan in January after falling out with his boss.

Sancho refused to apologise after publicly blasting Ten Hag on social media in September.

He felt he was being unfairly singled out after the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal.

And with neither party willing to compromise, Sancho was shipped back to Dortmund during the winter.

The forward has since clocked up five Bundesliga appearances, notching one assist.

But he had a game to forget in last night’s Champions League last 16, first leg tie with PSV.

Neither side could break the deadlock in a 1-1 draw.

But Sancho could have made the difference in his 68 minutes on the pitch.

He failed to score or assist, while also failing to create one single chance from dangerous play.

Sancho also didn’t make a single dribble attempt.

And he lost possession of the ball 12 times while also laying on just two crosses.

Finally, he had just a 71 per pass accuracy after 15 of his 21 passes found their intended target.

And Sancho also struggled defensively, winning just two of his seven duels.

Fans quickly reacted to the stats on social media.

One said: “But I thought Ten Hag was the problem?”

Another declared: “This guy must be sold.”

One noted: “We need the real Jadon Sancho.”

Another added: “I will have people tell me that Ten Hag is the problem.”
