TOWN Hall fatcats on six-figure salaries will be reined in under new laws putting pay to the vote.
Any local authority salary over £100,000 will need to be signed off by the elected councillors to stop grasping bosses raking in unjustified sums.

It comes after The Sun revealed last November that ministers vowed to end the “raw deal” for taxpayers.
Communities Secretary Michael Gove is pushing ahead with the scheme to give “proper oversight” of senior pay.
He is backing a Private Members’ Bill tabled by Tory MP Paul Bristow and expected to clear its first Commons hurdle today.
The Local Government (Pay Accountability) Bill makes clear councils must not advertise or appoint anyone to a job paying more than £100,000 without a full council vote.
Figures show 2,759 council officials earn more than six figures, while 721 get more than £150,000.
Around 600 get more than PM Rishi Sunak’s £156,000 salary.
It comes as several councils face bankruptcy.
Mr Bristow said: “It’s time to think of hard-pressed council taxpayers.
“It is time to tackle the ballooning cost of town hall salaries.”
