The model and influencer, 33, had attended her ex’s home in October 2022 after exchanging messages.
Jurors at Isleworth Crown Court heard she was then forcibly kept against her will after the pair had a blazing row.
Opening the case, prosecutor Sheilagh Davies said: “The prosecution allege that Mr Lawrence beat Chloe, a former partner, injuring her with very nasty injuries.
“Chloe felt she needed to leave and go home.
“He then lashed out and punched her many times about her head many times.
“He was fighting her, biting her, all over her body.
“She says that Ricky Lawrence stopped her from leaving, and she was kept there unwillingly.”
Jurors heard during the ordeal, Chloe’s new boyfriend Bora Gocuk had called her phone, which Lawrence picked up.
He allegedly threatened to kill Bora before chucking the phone at Chloe when she managed to flee.
When Lawrence was eventually arrested, police found messages the businessman had sent his ex on the day of the alleged assault.
“Within five minutes of being there I thought he was going to kill me.”

He wrote: “You f**king stupid c***. You’re f**ked now I swear. I’ll do anything in my power to f**k up your life. Screenshot that.
“I’m the worst enemy. I don’t go away you silly c***. I don’t go away.
“You’re f**ked now.
“You won’t go anywhere without anyone bringing up my name.”
Giving evidence, Chloe said she first met “narcissist” Lawrence in September 2021 and the pair started a relationship three months later.
She told jurors he could be “quite aggressive” and was “scared” of him.
Giving her reasons for heading to Lawrence’s flat after he sent the text messages, she said: “I thought he was manic.
“This was normal. It was normal that he’d send me messages like this, and the next day he’d be normal.
“When you’re in it, you just get on with it I guess.
“The only reason I went round is because all the threats he put on the messages, I didn’t think he’d actually do.”
Chloe told the court “within five or ten minutes” of walking in, she was left “physically scared for my life”.
She continued: “He gave me a psychotic glance. It didn’t look like someone that I knew. He turned instantly.
“Within five minutes of being there I thought he was going to kill me.”
Chloe was a finalist in Miss Universe GB in 2015 and has more than 300,000 followers on her Instagram.
Lawrence denies a charge of Actual Bodily Harm. The trial continues.
