IS LUKE LITTLER going to break his Premier League duck in Dublin this Thursday?
The teen sensation is the hottest property in darts, the one that is generating all the headlines and social media comment.
And yet he has not won a night on the Prem in seven attempts so far.
In fact, the tungsten rookie has only been to one final and that came on the second night in Berlin when he lost a last-leg decider to Michael van Gerwen.
BetMGM – the title sponsors of the 17-week Road Show – have him at odds of 3-1 to win three games in a row and enjoy the Luck of the Irish at the 3Arena on the banks of the River Liffey.
To be fair, Littler’s form has been consistent since early February – he has only lost once in seven opening games – and is positioned in third spot in the eight-player league table.
Yet the chance to bank a £10,000 bonus and get that first Prem victory would be another achievement in his fledging career.
Luke Humphries leads the way with 17 points heading into Night Eight and he is 9/4 to make it a hat-trick of successes following wins in Nottingham and Brighton.
One decent bet is the sight of a perfect leg – that is 7-1 to happen at some point in the Irish capital.
We have not had one in the Premier League this season but it is probably only a matter of time before one occurs.
