CELLAR sicko Josef Fritzl will never be let into Britain, the Home Secretary vowed last night.

James Cleverly promised to oppose the Austrian monster’s desire to move to the UK if he ever goes free.

Fritzl, 88, was jailed for life in 2009 after keeping his daughter locked up as a sex slave in his basement for 24 years.

The Sun revealed yesterday that he wants to come to Britain if he is eventually released – after learning about the “spectacular scenery” from a documentary about Shakespeare.

But Mr Cleverly shut down any prospect of that happening, adding: “This monster is never coming to our country.

“Any attempt to travel to the UK will be refused – as it would be for anyone convicted of serious sex offences like this.”

Fritzl, who fathered seven kids with his imprisoned daughter Elisabeth, is now eligible to apply for release.

Eyeing a move to Britain, he told a recent interview: “Above all I want to roam free on the wild Highlands of Scotland.”

He added in an interview: “For me the lush green fields of Wales are also very, very appealing. But the main thing is – it’s to the United Kingdom that I am headed.”

Reform MP Lee Anderson mocked Mr Cleverly’s pledge to block the sicko getting into the country.

He said: “Unless he jumps on a small boat in which case he’ll be in the Ritz Hotel by tea time.”

Former No10 supremo Dominic Cummings added: “All Fritzl has to do is hire a dinghy and ask a taxpayer funded human rights lawyer to work for him and our MPs will surrender as usual.”
