And the hype is justified after she cleared 4.8m to become world champion in March at the World Athletics Indoor Championships.

Amazing to think that Molly thought the upcoming Olympics in Paris was a target too soon.

“Prior to this year, my sights were always set on LA 2028. But things have really snowballed, I’ve built so much confidence,” she said.

“Taking that into Paris, I’d love to get a medal.”

But her success on the track has only strengthened her popularity away from it.

She is a favourite on social media, with a staggering 250,000 followers on her Instagram.

And fans are given a glimpse into her wonderful lifestyle, from travelling the world to her romance with fellow athlete, Joel Clarke-Khan.

Passport at the ready

In the gruelling world of athletics, Molly has taken in training camps around the globe.

A promising star of the future, she was very lucky to secure a scholarship at the University of Miami.

That came after she won the England schools.

However, she confessed it wasn’t doing much for her development, so she opted to head for Loughborough University.

Plus, with Covid interrupting her studies, it was logical for her to move back to the UK.

That didn’t stop her from enjoying Miami beach, and the trappings on offer in the US before the pandemic.

It was a far cry from where she grew up in Cornwall – training at the Cornwall Athletics Club, where her dad Stuart is a volunteer.

Currently, Molly is enjoying preparing for the Olympics in New Zealand, where she is being put through her paces by coach Scott Simpson.

There’s always time, though, for a bikini day.

After a hard day in the gym, she’s quick to strip down to her swimwear and go for a dip in the sea.

Only last month, before she got down to some serious training, Molly headed to Italy’s Amalfi coast.

There, she took in the beauty of Positano.

Before that, a trip to South Africa was just the ticket for Molly who posed in front of Lion’s Head mountain.

And she showed off her amazing bikini body once again when she took a dip at Boulders Beach.

Molly has also ticked Indonesia, Greece, the Canary Island, and the Bahamas off her bucket list- with the incredible photos going down a storm with supporters.

Dad’s thoughts

Because Molly often shares photos in lingerie and beachwear, many fans believe she should be a model.

Dad Stuart thinks that hilarious.

“I can see why they might think that, and it may lead to other things later in life,” he told the Mirror.

“But they are just her way of relaxing. She has many talents along with the pole vault, she enjoys baking to relax and is really good at it.

“She was the chief scone maker at the cafe and loves baking cakes.

“There has been talk of the Great British Bake Off, she would love to do that.”

Romance

Molly is one half of an athletics’ super couple.

She dates high jump prospect, Joel Clarke-Khan – who has the same travelling bug.

He became British champion when winning the high jump event at the 2020 British Athletics Championships with a jump of 2.18 metres.

Joel, himself, is flying high for Paris 2024.

And away from sport, he is signed up to FORTE Model Management.

Molly and Joel cut good-looking figures, should they be a success story they will be an advertiser’s dream.

Back in January, German sportswear giants Adidas signed Molly up as one of their athletes.

She took to social media to show off a variety of kits at her disposal, asking her fanbase what they think she should wear.

She said at the time: “It’s an absolute dream come true to have officially signed with @adidas  I’m so so excited for the year to come… with my first comp this Sunday!!! Which comp kit should I wear.”

Incredibly, the post drew over 123,000 likes.

Fans online were in awe of Molly.

One wrote: “So Awesome !!!! Congrats !!! Now time to compete and continue that road to Paris 2024.”

A second posted: “Hard work pays off.”
