JON RAHM produced one of the moments of the 2023 Ryder Cup as he found the green from a stream behind a bridge.

The Spaniard, 28, was taking on World No1 Scottie Scheffler in a blockbuster singles tie on the final day in Rome.

The pair were tied after the opening nine holes as the momentum swung back and forth between Europe and USA’s finest.

And Scheffler, who endured a record defeat alongside Brooks Koepka on Saturday, looked set to take the 10th hole after Rahm‘s opening shot on the par four left him in a nightmare position.

The 2023 Masters champion found himself playing his second shot from a stream the wrong side of a bridge.

Yet somehow Rahm managed to chip the ball perfectly onto the green, before he halved the hole.

It was arguably the best shot of the weekend as fans hailed the Team Europe star on social media.

One said: “Shot of the Ryder Cup right there!”

Another added: “I saw it, and I’m still not convinced that’s even possible.”

A third replied: “Insane he managed to get it out, let alone on the green ”

While a fourth responded: “He is an absolute beast!”

And a fifth said: “Unbelievable .”

Team Europe came into Sunday with a five-point lead over their American counterparts.

This meant they needed just four and a half points to reclaim the Ryder Cup after losing in the US two years ago.

Rahm and Scheffler eventually tied their match.
