ADULT film star Stormy Daniels is back on the stand as she’s grilled by Donald Trump’s defense team, who accused her of fabricating her affair with the former president.
The porn star, dressed in all black once again, returned to the downtown Manhattan courtroom for cross-examination by the defense in Trump‘s hush money trial.

Defense attorney Susan Necheles dug at Daniels, 45, trying to discredit her as a liar by claiming she made up the affair with Trump in 2006 and was trying to profit off the story instead.
Necheles drilled on Daniels’ career as a porn star, asking her, “You have a lot of experience of making phony stories about sex appear to be real.”
“Wow,” Daniels, who was born Stephanie Clifford, said as she took a long pause.
“That’s not how I would put it. The sex in the films is very much real, just like what happened to me in that room.
“The character themes might be different, but the sex is very real.
“That’s why it’s pornography, not a B movie.”
When asked about supposedly faking her affair with Trump, Daniels snapped, “If that story was not true, I would’ve written it to be a lot better.”
Necheles replied, “Because you’re a good story writer, right?”
‘MONEY GRAB’
The defense attorney continued to dig at Daniels about how much money she profited from going public with her story about the supposed affair.
Necheles underlined to jurors how, in 2016, Daniels was speaking to several reporters about her encounter with Trump.
The attorney stressed that at the same time, the porn star was negotiating her non-disclosure agreement with Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, for which she received $130,000.
Daniels confessed that at the time, she was speaking to the editor of Slate Magazine about potentially publishing her story.
The adult film star said the editor was a “backup” plan if the NDA with Cohen fell through.
Necheles suggested that Daniels wanted money from Slate and stopped speaking with the magazine after learning she wouldn’t be paid for her story.
“At this point, you were asking for money, you wanted money from President Trump,” Necheles asked, to which Daniels replied, “No.
“I was asking to sell my story to publications to get the truth out,” the porn star added.
Necheles pressed, “But they weren’t willing to give you money, right?”
“No,” Daniels responded.
Trump’s attorney then asked Daniels why she had signed the NDA, even though she would have gotten her story out with Slate.
“This was a better alternative,” she said on the stand.
The defense underscored Daniels’ 2018 interview with 60 Minutes, which Necheles said led to other moneymaking opportunities, including a $800,000 book contract – to sell her story.
“Now, you have been paid almost $930,000, almost a million dollars, for selling this story?” Necheles asked.
Daniels told the court that she was not paid for her interview on 60 Minutes.
However, the defense accused her of capitalizing off the publicity, “You capitalized by doing a strip club tour called ‘Make America Horny Again.’”
Daniels said she fought “tooth and nail” against the tour name, saying, “I did not name that tour.”
Trump was leaning back in his chair and kept his eyes closed for much of Daniels’ testimony, according to CNN.
Daniels has been on the stand for roughly seven hours over two days.
Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts in connection with alleged hush money payments.
His trial is now in its third week of testimony.
