DONALD Trump will probably avoid jail when sentenced — but may be ordered to pick up litter.

Experts predict a community service sentence as he has no record and his crimes were not violent.

The ex-president, 77, will learn his fate on July 11 after being convicted on all 34 counts of falsifying records to hide hush-money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016.

Trump’s lawyers are believed to be sure to file a plea for no jail time.

Criminal defence attorney Jeffrey Lichtman said he “did not expect” the billionaire tycoon would be locked up.

He believes that community service — including “picking up trash on the side of the road” — was a more likely outcome.

Meanwhile, Trump supporters registered their protests against the verdicts.

Many posted upside-down US flags online to symbolise the state corruption they claim swung the verdict.

Trump himself branded his trial “rigged” and called America a “fascist state” in a furious rant against Democrat rival Joe Biden.

Within hours of his conviction, donations to Republican Trump’s presidental campaign began flooding in at a rate of around £850,000 an hour.

Trump, the first US president convicted of a crime, plans to appeal against his conviction.

He is likely to face Biden in their second presidential election clash in November.

But a post-conviction poll found 49 per cent of independents and 15 per cent of Republicans said he should now end his White House bid.

Biden, 81, tried on the Kansas City Chiefs’ headgear and joked that he’d like to emulate his guests’ back-to-back Superbowl wins by defeating his 77-year-old rival for the second time.
