Thiago Alcantara joins Matip as a notable name preparing to leave following the expiration of his contract.
Both walk away from Merseyside with Champions League and Premier League titles to their names.
Matip was signed in 2016 from Schalke and went onto become a cult hero at Liverpool after 201 club appearances.
Thiago joined for £20million from Bayern Munich in 2020 but the midfielder has been plagued with injuries during his time at Anfield.
The Italian-born Spanish international missed almost the entirety of Liverpool’s last season, making just ONE appearances for five minutes.
He has been linked with a big-money move to Saudi Arabia in the past or a European switch with Galatasaray previously interested.
