A TORY candidate joked about drugging women with Rohypnol in resurfaced social media posts.
Wannabe Stockport MP Oliver Johnstone apologised “wholeheartedly” for comments in 2012 where he claimed women were “too used to this liberation nonsense”.
Tory candidate Oliver Johnstone apologised for the remarks, which he posted in 2012
Mr Johnstone, who works as a stockbroker in Manchester, was replying to a post in a private Facebook group criticising a press release for “Steak and Blowjob Day”.
He wrote: “Sound’s [sic] like we’ve just found a re-brand for International Men’s Day
“I just don’t see the problem, you girls are just too used to this liberation nonsense.
“Nothing unequal or disrespectful about steak or blowjobs nor the celebration of their greatness”
The former local councillor continued: “To paraphrase Captain Flasheart [sic] – any bird who wants to chain herself to my railings and suffer-a-jet movement is more than welcome to!”
“I reject the assertion that women take no pleasure in giving men blowjobs.
“Steak and Blowjobs Day is actually (when you think about it) free and equal exchange…..lol”
“Well look if wasn’t for the incentive of material goods just how do you expect me to get laid?”
“Well that or Rohypnol.”
Rohypnol is often used by predators as a date-rape drug because it is tricky to detect in drinks.
People who take the drug in large quantities can become drowsy or fall asleep, which sickos exploit to commit brutal attacks.
Approached about the posts, Mr Johnstone said: “These comments were made a number of years ago and I wholeheartedly apologise for them.”
A Conservative Party spokesman added: “The Conservative Party has spoken to this individual and reminded them of the Party’s code of conduct and standards expected of candidates, including on social media.”

It comes after two Conservative candidates said sorry and quit the election last week over posts made on social media.
Sam Trask, who was standing in Bridgend, Wales, resigned after his historic jokes about groping women were unearthed.
And Adam Gregg, a candidate in Spen Valley, Yorks, also stepped away after images from school discos he used to run showed young teenagers with the words “horny” and “b***h” painted on their chests.
