The homeowner – who has not been named – is heard telling her neighbour: “It’s for one night, it’s for children. Are you really serious?”

Her protestations don’t stop the “Karen” neighbour next door however, as she keeps lifting the Halloween decorations up and mumbling in reply.

The homeowner adds: “Are you serious? I spent so much time doing that. And you’re over there destroying it because you feel you need to.”

Viewers were quick to take to the comments to side with the homeowner.

One wrote: “I would put it right back up and make sure to do it every day until Christmas.”

Another said: “Get the hose.”

It comes after a man who decorated his house for Halloween asked to remove his spooky house decorations because the figures are said to be scaring kids.

Ashan Jeeawon, 42, was told his floating skeleton displays were “detrimental to the mental health of people, particular children”.

But when the property stylist put the matter to a Facebook vote, 700 replies from neighbours were all in favour of him keeping his house of horrors in Bexhill, East Sussex.

Meanwhile, one artist’s bloody Halloween masterpiece – which featured a man killed by a chainsaw and a “body bag” – caught the attention of his neighbours.
