Bret (YouTube/@spacebret) originally shared the video on the platform in January 2019.

But the footage also captured a strange light next to the airplane.

He explained further in the video’s caption, saying the “strange flashing light” was “moving slowly in the sky, a little slower than the planes flying around.

“I could see the random flashing coming from the object for about 10 seconds.

Bret tried to film the object but was worried that the camera wouldn’t be focused enough to capture it accurately.

But when he reviewed the footage later on, he was “blown away.”

“I have no idea what this object is,” he continued in the caption.

“It is pill shaped with bullet headed ends.”

Bret then confirmed that the video was taken in rural North Carolina near Greensboro and asked viewers to chime in on their thoughts.

“Great job catching this. I live in southern California and my family and I have seen objects similar to this over the ocean,” one person commented.

“I saw the exact same thing in 2010. It was in the morning and the light from that object was so bright that it looked like the sun was reflecting from it,” another person wrote.

“After several minutes of signaling or long blinks, the light went out and I could actually see the ufo hovering above me. Then it split in two with what appeared to be a tether still holding on to each end.”

Others also reported seeing the same thing in various parts of the world including the UK, Brazil, New Jersey, and Texas.

“Unfortunately it just disappeared into thin air before I could even try to get a photo,” one person wrote.
